ABOUT US

Southern Region encompasses the southern 39 counties of Illinois with current PTAs in Madison, St. Clair, Monroe, Clinton, Williamson, and Johnson counties.

Southern Region understands that engaged families are the key to the success of our schools in our community.

In 2012, we started to change how we supported PTAs in Southern Illinois by developing opportunities to engage families, schools, and businesses making our vision more of a reality every day...

‘To enrich the lives of Illinois children by being the premier parent resource; encouraging family and community engagement through programs, services, advocacy, and education.’

Focusing our efforts towards this vision, Southern Region celebrates our students’ successes, provides PTA leaders and families with information on services available locally and online, and conducts leadership training.
